Light-Emitting Diode LED

LEDs are the ideal basis for creative ideas for lighting applications. LED's are modern semiconductor components and are also called "Light Emitting Diodes". They consist of solid solution semiconductors such as gallium arsenide (GaAs), gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP), palium phosphide (GaP). The power supply of the LED(-modules) is provided by suitable LED power supplies with safety extra-low voltage (SELV). The LEDs convert this electrical energy into light energy.
